Nicola Davies is a zoologist, writer, and former presenter of the BBC’s Really Wild Show and is a regular contributor to BBC’s Wildlife magazine. She is the author of a number of books for children. She lives in Somerset, England.

Jane Chapman (Biographical Sketch FROM Candlewick Press)

Jane Chapman lives in rural England with her husband (also an illustrator), son, and a 70-year-old turtle.  She enjoys gardening, cooking, sewing, quilting, and playing the bass guitar.

Ms. Chapman has illustrated a number of recent children's books including :
