Candace Fleming is an Illinois author who spent part of her growing up years in Charleston, Il. As a matter of fact, she attended the same grade school where the chair of the Monarch Award, Pam Storm, is currently the library media specialist. It is often a small world. Candace now lives in a suburb of Chicago with husband and two sons.

The interaction between rabbits and people can be surprising for both. These stories all deal with people and their rabbity relationships.  Compare for fun and frolic.
